Terms of use
Free to use, no warranty, and your documents stay yours.
The short version
SimpleInvoice is free to use for personal and commercial work, including invoicing your own clients. There is no account, no licence key and no usage limit.
The documents you create are yours. We claim no rights over them and hold no copy of them.
What you are responsible for
The guides describe common practice, not legal or tax advice. When the rules matter to you, check them with a professional or your tax authority.
- The content of your invoices — the amounts, the tax treatment, the legal details your country requires.
- Keeping exported copies. The data lives in your browser, and clearing site data removes it.
- Anyone you hand a share link to can read that invoice; how far a link travels is up to you.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Browsers change, storage can be cleared by the browser under pressure, and print dialogs differ between vendors. We do not guarantee that the app is free of defects or that it will remain available at this address.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from using the app — including lost data, a missed invoice or a PDF that a client would not accept.
Third-party names
Comparison pages mention other products by name for identification only. Those names and trademarks belong to their owners, and mentioning them implies no affiliation or endorsement.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does; the current version is always the one on this page. Last updated 2026-09-14.
